MEMORY VERSE: “But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another” (Psalm 75:7)

BIBLE PASSAGE: Psalm 75:4 -7
4 I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:
5 Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.
6 For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.
7 But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

After the birth of Jacob, the negative traits in his mother began to rear up their ugly heads in him. He deceived his brother Esau, stole his birthright and blessing of the firstborn and bolted. Esau thought his only respite was to revenge by killing his brother. After years of living in exile, Jacob decided to return home with his family only to realize that the evil he left several years before, which he thought time would heal, was as fresh as ever. It was pay time for sowing his wild oats. On his way, he divided his family into groups out of fear so that at least one group could possibly escape the sword of Esau. Then all alone, he resorted to seek divine intervention.

That night, Jacob had a profound dream (Gen. 32:24-30).
24 And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.
25 And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him.
26 And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.
27 And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob.
28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.
29 And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.
30 And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.
The first thing he saw was a ladder.
12. And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.
A ladder is a means of progressive ascent. This means that in his present situation, ascent was possible. Are you a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ? No matter how hopeless your situation may be, ascent is possible. Never accept your position as the ultimate. You shall rise from the doldrums of dejection, want, hopelessness and stagnancy and move up to higher ground. Subject to certain conditions, you can go higher than your present height. Job 22:29 says it is possible to experience progressive ascent while all others are experiencing a descent.
Job 22:29 When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up; and he shall save the humble person.
That will be your portion this season.

The ladder speaks of promotion. You can be promoted by God or man. It talks of being promoted to become god to the Pharaohs of this world. For effective world evangelization for instance, you would need the power to kill and bring back to life.

I prefer to be an ordinary worker who can raise the dead than be a provincial pastor that cannot cure headache.

Unfortunately, many are chasing after the promotion of man at the expense of divine promotion. It is not worth it! In many churches today, it is some workers or ministers that are holding the spiritual base while the pastors like Pharaoh play only a ceremonial role. You can choose to be in charge like the men of old or simply occupy a position lacking the true power of God. When last did the sick get healed through your prayers? When last did God answer your prayers? As you seek to climb the ladder of promotion this year, let divine promotion be uppermost in your heart and request.
THE FATHER’S BLESSING.”I pray for Someone reading this message today. The Lord will lift your horn higher that that of your oppressors in the Ministry. The Lord will promote and enlarge your coast. No one will be able to cover your glory. Your season of being on the shelve and hiding under cover is over as the Lord will advertise you Himself in the mighty name of Jesus.”(Amen.)

ACTION POINT FOR TODAY
Some opportunities offering you progress may really be out to deliver regression. Pray that God will expose the true nature of opportunities and deliver you.

You are special,
You are loved,
You are appreciated

Never-Failing Help- God's fatherly Love

Here is a word for you from the Word.

Psalm 121:1-3

I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; from whence shall my help come? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to slip; He who keeps you will not slumber. NAS

The psalmist there looks at the mountains in their majesty and in their grandeur and then he asks that question: “Where does my help come from?” And he is reminded of the great Creator, the one who formed the mountains, the seas and the whole earth and he rejoices to know that the Creator is also his helper. He says, “My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.” The same God that created all these mighty marvels that we see in creation, created us.

Not only did He create us, He wants to keep us, He wants to preserve us. He will not allow our foot to slip. He who keeps us will not slumber. I had a little picture once of a little boy in his father’s arms, holding on very tight to his father’s lapel in case he should fall, but after awhile he nodded off and went to sleep and his hand slipped away from his father’s lapel, but his father held him just as securely whether he was holding onto his father or not. And that’s how our relationship with God is. Sometimes we think we just have to hold on tight to God but when we fall asleep God still holds us even if we are not holding Him.

He who keeps us will neither slumber nor sleep. He is the great Creator. - Derek Prince

How to be anointed with miracle power

How To Be Filled With The Spirit

If you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him (Luke 11:13 NLT).

Dear Friends,

Instructions on how to be filled with the Holy Spirit are summarized in a popular booklet I wrote many years ago. God has used the biblical truths in it to change the lives of ten of millions. It has been reproduced in most of the major languages of the world.

Space does not permit me to include it here, but I will include a key portion, below. You can find the entire booklet in 80+ languages at http://www.greatcom.org/main.htm.

EXCERPT:

We are filled by the Holy Spirit by faith. You can appropriate the filling of the Holy Spirit right now if you:

1. Sincerely desire to be directed and empowered by the Holy Spirit (Matthew 5:6; John 7:37-39).

2. Confess your sins, and receive forgiveness (1 John 1:9).

3. Surrender every area of your life to our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 12:1, 2).

4. By faith claim the fullness of the Holy Spirit, according to:

HIS COMMAND -- Be filled with the Spirit. "And do not get drunk with wine, for that is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit" (Ephesians 5:18, NASB).

HIS PROMISE -- "And this is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked of Him" (1 John 5:14, 15, NASB).

HOW TO PRAY IN FAITH TO BE FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT

Prayer is one way of expressing your faith. The following is a suggested prayer:

"Dear Father, I need You. I acknowledge that I have been directing my own life and that, as a result, I have sinned against You. I thank You that You have forgiven my sins through Christ's death on the cross for me. I now invite Christ to again take His place of authority on the throne of my life. Fill me with the Holy Spirit as You COMMANDED me to be filled, and as You PROMISED in Your Word that You would do if I asked in faith. I now thank You for directing my life and for filling me with the Holy Spirit."

Does this prayer express the desire of your heart? If so, bow in prayer and trust God to fill you with the Holy Spirit right now.

Yours for helping to fulfill the Great Commission each year until our Lord returns,

Bill Bright

Are you filled with the Holy Spirit?

Be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord (Ephesians 5:18-19 NLT).

Dear Friends,

Here is a real test that will help you determine if you are truly filled with the Holy Spirit.

Do you find that you have a greater love for Christ? Are you more concerned for those who do not know His love and forgiveness? Are you experiencing a greater faith, boldness, liberty, and power in witnessing, and victory in your own life? Do you enjoy reading God's Word, the Bible?

If you answer yes to these questions, you are filled with the Spirit. Jesus Christ is beginning to express His life and love through and in you.

Remember, Jesus promised that we would receive "power" after the Holy Spirit has come upon us. That power is to be his witnesses (Acts 1:8).

Most Christian leaders agree with Dr. R. A. Torrey, who said: "I have gone through my Bible time and time again checking this subject and I make this statement without the slightest fear of successful contradiction that there is not one single passage in the Old Testament or the New Testament where the filling with the Holy Spirit is spoken of, where it is not connected with testimony for service."

When you are filled with the Holy Spirit you will have a greater love for Christ, for your fellow man, and for the Word of God, and you will want to share Christ with others. As Paul said in Romans 5:5, "God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us" (NIV). Also, the fruit of the Spirit -- love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control... (Galatians 5:22,23, NIV) -- will become more evident in your life.

As a Christian abides in Christ, living in the fullness of the Spirit, the fruit of the Spirit is developed and the Christian becomes more mature spiritually. The maturing of the fruit of the Spirit is a lifetime process that goes on continually as Christ-like characteristics are being formed in the life of the Christian. Some Christians give greater evidence of the fruit of the Spirit than do others because of a greater degree of yielding to His working.

The more we acknowledge ourselves to be dead to sin and surrender to our Lord Jesus Christ and His life within us, and the more we allow Him through the power of the Holy Spirit to live out His life through us, the more evident will be the fruit of the Spirit.

Yours for helping to fulfill the Great Commission each year until our Lord returns,

The greatest adventure

I assure you that everyone who has given up house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or property, for my sake and for the Good News, will receive now in return, a hundred times over, houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, and property-with persecutions. And in the world to come they will have eternal life (Mark 10:29-30 NLT).

Dear Friends,

Your life as a Spirit-filled believer is the most exciting life imaginable! God has a special plan to equip, develop and use you for His purposes.

Although the development and maturing of the fruit of the Spirit is a long process, the gifts of the Holy Spirit are given at the time a person becomes a Christian. Though every believer who is filled with the Spirit receives power for witnessing, not every Christian receives the same gift, according to 1 Corinthians 12. Also, some are called to be apostles, some prophets, others evangelists, pastors, and teachers (Ephesians 4:11). Therefore, we must let the Lord direct us into the place of service He has for us.

Do not imitate the ministry of someone else. Be patient. Do not too quickly decide what you should do with your life or where you should serve Christ. He will express His life in and through you as you continue to study His Word and remain obedient and sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Through God's Word, the direction of the Holy Spirit, and the wise counsel of mature Christians, you will discover God's will for yourself.

As you ask God to fill you with the Holy Spirit by faith, you are about to begin the greatest adventure of your life. Remember that you are asking to be filled with the Holy Spirit rather than with self. As He takes control of your life, you will become more like Christ. When you are filled with the Holy Spirit, it will be your constant desire to do the will of God and that which will please and honor Jesus Christ.

Why did Jesus come into this world? "To seek and to save what was lost" (Luke 19:10, NIV).

What will please Him most? We please Him most as we help fulfill His Great Commission by praying, giving and going into all the world and preaching the gospel to every creature by inviting Him to live His life through us, beginning in our "Jerusalem."

How is this to be accomplished? Through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Every day can be an exciting adventure for the Christian who knows the reality of being filled with the Holy Spirit and who lives constantly, moment by moment, under His gracious direction.

Yours for helping to fulfill the Great Commission each year until our Lord returns,

How to work in Power of God's anointing

Testimonies of The Spirit-filled Life

The believers were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit (Acts 13:52 NLT).

Dear Friends,

Every biblical reference to the filling of the Holy Spirit, in both the Old Testament and the New Testament, relates to power for service and witness. Beginning with the day of Pentecost and continuing through the centuries, the work of God has always been accomplished through men and women who were filled with the Holy Spirit -- men such as Peter, Paul, and all the disciples.

In more recent times, men like John Wesley, Jonathan Edwards, Charles Finney, Dwight L. Moody, Charles Spurgeon, G. Campbell Morgan, R. A. Torrey, Billy Graham, and scores of other Christian leaders who have been filled with the Holy Spirit have been greatly used to further the cause of Christ and His kingdom. However, the filling of the Holy Spirit is not limited to Christian leaders, but is available to every believer who meets God's conditions.

Hear what some of these great people of God say about the importance of every Christian being filled with the Holy Spirit:

Andrew Murray: "Men ought to seek with their whole hearts to be filled with the Spirit of God. Without being filled with the Spirit, it is utterly impossible that an individual Christian or a church can ever live or work as God desires."

Charles G. Finney: "Christians are as guilty for not being filled with the Holy Spirit as sinners are for not repenting. They are even more so, for as they have more light, they are so much the more guilty."

Henrietta C. Mears: "I believe that it is impossible for any Christian to be effective either in his life or in his service unless he is filled with the Holy Spirit, who is God's only provision of power."

Dr. J. Oswald J. Smith: "Read the biographies of God's men and you will discover that each one sought and obtained the endowment of power from on high. One sermon preached in the anointing is worth a thousand in the energy of the flesh."

Of course, the Holy Spirit already dwells within every believer, but obviously not every believer is filled and controlled by the Holy Spirit. But every believer can be.

Since God commands us in His Word to be filled with the Spirit, we may be certain that He has the power to fill us the very moment we invite Him by faith to do so.

Yours for helping to fulfill the Great Commission each year until our Lord returns,

Should Christians observe the Biblical, Jewish Holidays?

It is increasingly common for Gentile Christians to celebrate the biblical, Jewish holidays, and there are many commendable reasons for doing so. Here are a few:

(1) The biblical holy days are infused with spiritual and prophetic significance. Passover corresponds to Yeshua's death (1 Corinthians 5:7-8), Firstfruits to His resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:20), and the Festival of Weeks (Shavu'ot, or Pentecost) corresponds to the giving of the Spirit (Acts 2:1-4). Trumpets points to the Lord's return with the sound of the trumpet (see Matthew 24:31; 1 Corinthians 15:52; 1 Thessalonians 4:16; Revelation 11:15), the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur) points to Israel's final cleansing (Zechariah 13:1, which follows from Zechariah 12:10 ff.), and Tabernacles (Sukkot) points to the final ingathering of the nations (see Zechariah 14:16-19; see also Revelation 7:9 and Leviticus 23:40, for palm branches and Tabernacles).

(2) The biblical holy days have great historic significance. Although the Messianic significance of the biblical holy days is certainly of greater significance to Christians than is the historical significance, the origin and meaning of these holy days in Israel's history is also important. So, if it is okay to celebrate Thanksgiving and July 4th in America and to remember the events connected with those days, how can it be wrong to remember Israel's deliverance from Egypt in the Passover? When connecting this season to the death and resurrection of Yeshua, it can be very powerful.

(3) Celebrating the biblical holy days is a good way to teach about God's acts of redemption. Paul freely made reference to the holy days when writing to the Corinthians, making a spiritual application of Passover in 1 Corinthians 5:7-8 and possibly referencing Firstfruits directly in 1 Corinthians 15:20; notice also how Luke casually made reference to Yom Kippur (the Fast) in Acts 27:9, assuming his readers would understand. Yet many Christians today do not understand these references, being so divorced from the Jewish roots of the faith. Celebration of the holy days-or at the least, annual teaching about them-is a good way to educate a whole congregation, from the young to the old.

(4) Celebrating the biblical holy days is a good way to recover the Jewish roots of the Christian faith. It is absolutely clear that everything that God does is summed up in His Son Jesus, that our Messiah and King is to have centrality in every way, and that our fullness is found in Him rather than in celebrating holy days or observing special seasons. That being said, the Church has become so Gentilized, so detached from its biblical, Jewish origins, that an appreciation for the biblical, Jewish calendar-the calendar of Yeshua and the apostles-is certainly helpful. To give one example, think of the positive benefits of calling churches to fast and pray for the salvation of Jewish people worldwide on the Day of Atonement, a day when millions of Jews are fasting and asking God to forgive their sins. What's wrong with doing that?

Having said all this, it is important to emphasize that many believers do get caught up in unhealthy practices associated with the celebration of the feasts, and there are some direct warnings in the New Testament. In light of this, it is important to remember that: (1) Celebration of the biblical feasts is not a means for a Gentile believer to "become Jewish." Jews and Gentiles have equal standing in the Lord, and Jews are not called to become Gentiles nor are Gentiles called to become Jews. (2) Jesus must be central in everything we do (this cannot be overemphasized.) (3) Celebration of the feasts is not commanded in the New Testament and should not be practiced in a binding or legalistic way.

This was addressed by Paul when expressing his concern about the Galatians: "You are observing special days and months and seasons and years! I fear for you, that somehow I have wasted my efforts on you" (Galatians 4:10-11). What was the problem? While commentators point out different nuances of the text, it seems clear that the Galatians thought that they were required to observe "special days and months and seasons and years," and, worse still, they thought that in doing so, they would increase their spiritual standing in the Lord. Neither of these is true!

Paul addressed a related phenomenon in Colossians 2:16-17 (NLT): "So don't let anyone condemn you for what you eat or drink, or for not celebrating certain holy days or new moon ceremonies or Sabbaths. For these rules are only shadows of the reality yet to come. And Christ himself is that reality." (When Paul called on the Corinthians to "keep the Passover" in 1 Corinthians 5, he was clearly speaking of this in spiritual terms.)

So, let everything we do as believers find its fullness in Yeshua, let no celebration or observance be done in a binding way, let no believers judge one other based on their observance or non-observance, let no one feel "unspiritual" if they get nothing out of the celebration of the feasts-and if the Lord puts it in your heart to celebrate the feasts, then be blessed in that celebration.

As for Jewish believers in Jesus, it is my view that similar principles apply, since we are not required by God to follow the biblical calendar as new covenant believers. (I'm sure some of you differ with me here, so feel free and email me with your differences, bearing in mind that in the course of a short article like this, I cannot get into lengthy theological and exegetical discussions to back up every point I make.)

That being said, many Messianic Jews do feel a calling to follow the biblical calendar for the purposes of covenantal solidarity with the Jewish community, preservation of their heritage, Jewish outreach, and family life cycle, among other things. I would only urge my fellow Messianic Jews to reflect on the previous paragraphs, regardless of their particular convictions, since it is God's will that "in everything [Yeshua] might be preeminent" (Col 1:18, ESV). Therefore whatever we do must ultimately glorify Him.

Why don't Christians celebrate the Passover

INTRODUCTION: According to the Scripture, Passover means commemoration, celebration unto the LORD a lasting ordinance. Jesus was lamp of God. There was no need for another sacrifice again! Passover in today's context means setting apart of animate or inanimate, holy as unto the Lord. In today's contemporary Christian life, the word Passover is not very common. What has replaced Passover, I believe is the observance of the Lord 's Supper. I will try to explain this according to the scripture. The Passover is being observed today, but in a different way, which I believe is biblical. You will enjoy this as you read along.

THE LORD'S SUPPER This is an ordinance that the Lord Jesus observed with his disciples as contained in Luke 22:7-19. It was to replace the killing of sheep, goat, animals and all that. Jesus was making the disciples to understand the purpose of his death and resurrection, which supersedes any killings and sacrifices. Notice that when the Lord was having the Lord's super with the disciples (who later became apostles) Judas was there. At the table where the ordinance was taking place, Judas was revealed. The revelation of Judas on the table of the Lord's Supper is an indication that it was a Passover indeed for nothing unclean would hold where the Lord is. There was a revelation of who Judas was. Whereas Judas ought to have done something about it but because it had been predestined that someone was to betray the Lord, nothing happened; hence Judas Iscariot hardened his heart to betray the Lord. Make sure that the counsel of the enemy does not hold in your life. The enemy does not want anyone in the Kingdom, you only need to make up your mind that you are Heaven bound and nothing prevents you from getting to the Kingdom. Not even the love of money or craving for positions that are temporal! The devil has so much to tantalize human beings with. You just make up your mind that you would not be deceived. The money Judas took from the enemy of righteousness, the Pharisees, he never lived to spend a penny out of it! For how long would you allow the devil to deceive you? Where are you compromising your faith? Where are you denying the Lord? At work, in your family or business? You must say NO to the Devil and YES to JESUS today. Take a stand for the Lord today and decide to confess him everywhere and you will find rest for your soul. Judas denied the Lord. He even sold him out to the enemy. But thanks are to God who made the King of glory to die and resurrected according to the Scripture. If Jesus had not died, there would not have been hope for you and I. His death released unto us victory over the devil, because he held captivity captive in the grave and gave gifts unto men. Healing and deliverance have become our inheritance by virtue of the fact that Jesus died. Eternal life has become our inheritance because Jesus Christ died and resurrected the third day - Hallelujah!

THE PASSOVER BY REVELATION I Corinthians 11:23-33 "For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, "This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me". In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood, do this whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me. For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death till he comes. Therefore, whoever eats this bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord. A man ought to examine himself before he eats of the bread and drinks of the cup. For anyone who eats and drinks without recognizing the body of the Lord eats and drinks judgment on himself. That is why many among you are weak and sick, and a number of you have fallen asleep. But if we judged ourselves, we would not come und4er judgment. When we are judged by the Lord, we are being disciplined so that we will not be condemned with the world. So then, my brothers, when you come together to eat, wait for each other. If anyone is hungry, he should eat at home, so that when you meet together it may not result in judgment. And when I come I will give further directions. I want you to notice some things from the above passage that should be observed when we are observing the ordinance of the Passover:

(a) A man must be born again - John 3:1-21, Acts 3:19

(b) You must know what you are doing as a Christian - living a holy life - Hebrews 12:14

(c) Observance of the Lord's Supper is not for trivializations (joke with). It is done in sincerity not in deceit of the heart.

(d) It is not for children. Notice let a man examine himself. Can children examine themselves? Do they understand what salvation is?

(e) The observance of it keeps in your remembrance the Lord's death and resurrection, which is the basis of our faith. It keep the Church together in unity. Love is proclaimed by the observance

Friend, you will agree with me that what we observe today is even far better than what the past and present Jews were partaking of. It is an ordinance. Done by Jesus and revealed to Paul for us to continue to do until he comes.

I have witnessed a place where the Lord's Supper was taken worthily and healing was the result. I know of a sister who had an issue of blood for many months who after the Lord's Supper in one of our services had healing. The fountain of her blood stopped after observing the Lord's Supper. I also know of a sister after taking part in the Lord's supper was blessed of the womb after many year of bareness.

Conversely, I have also heard of a place where cult members who took the Lord's Supper unworthily died after taking it in the church! The Lord that answers by fire is our God! He is a God of justice and also that of judgment.

Are you born again? If so thanks be to God. If not please consider today where you will spend your eternity? Lord's supper without Christ as your personal savior and Lord is damnation to yourself!

Do you know Evan Roberts-

Evan Roberts 11
Description: Though only 26 years old, Evan Roberts had no time for youthful entertainment and pleasure. "Day and night without ceasing, he prayed, wept and sighed for a great spiritual awakening . . ." Roberts writes, "for ten or eleven years I have prayed for revival. I could sit up all night to read or talk about revivals." Eventually Evan Roberts was turned out of his lodging by his landlady who thought that in his enthusiasm he was possessed or somewhat mad. "He spent hours praying and preaching in his room until the lady became afraid of him, and asked him to leave."

กฎ 4 ข้อสำหรับการรับการฟื้นฟู
His message was simple (Revival Message):
(1) You must confess every known sin to God;
สารภาพบาปจนหมดสิ้น
(2) you must remove every doubtful habit from your life;
เลิกนิสัยบาปชั่วทุกอย่าง
(3) you must obey the Holy Spirit's prompting; and
เชื่อฟังพระวิญญาณบริสุทธิ์
(4) you must go public with your witness for Christ.
ออกไปเป็นพยานเรื่องความรอดต่อสาธารณะชน
Although Roberts was unskilled in preaching, the pastor and those 17 church members began to burn with a fiery touch from God.
